If you've been tapping for a while or identify as being completely new to tapping, here's a basic introduction to the meaning behind each tapping point and at a high level, how & why tapping works!
What I find truly inspiring is that by tapping on specific acupressure points while acknowledging stressful thoughts & beliefs, studies show that it actually sends a calming signal to the amygdala & limbic system.
By calming the brain while holding these "negative" thoughts, it sends a calming ripple throughout the rest of the body, lowering cortisol, blood pressure, improving HRV, bringing the prefrontal cortex back on line, suggesting that it safe to have these thoughts and also safe to let them go as we intentionally choose new thoughts and new responses.
When we are less activated by fear, worry, panic, fatigue, doubt, insecurity, what have you, we can then re-engage the prefrontal cortex to think wisely, rationally, and intentionally. (This calming explains the tapping after-glow that I know many of you feel as you yawn, stretch, settle, and regulate following a tapping video that truly targets and rewires the overactive neural highway.)
If you find yourself short on time and feel you could benefit from tapping on specific points instead of doing a whole video, this video will shed light on which point/points you can use as you please, without having to even say anything! (Research shows that the points alone are active ingredients: the phrases just make it that much more potent!)
I find it so curious that different people will favor or really gravitate towards certain points and how this tends to correlate with what they're currently processing.
If you feel so called, do you have points you find more pleasurable than others? Or perhaps points that feel especially tender?
After watching this video, does it potentially explain why?!
Let us know below...I'll go first:
I've always loved the under the eye points when I'm stuck in an anxious or ruminative loop.
I especially love thumping the chest, as I find it energizing & always uplifting when I'm ready to take more aligned action (akin to how a gorilla pounds its chest getting ready to battle or as it excitedly finds a new source of food...only we choose to dance instead of battle with grace, ease, and maybe even humor!)
Your turn :)

You Won't Be Healing Forever
The conversation that keeps coming up sounds like a confused soup of:
"Will I have to be healing forever" paired with "I don't even know if I can heal..."
As we can glean from nature: nothing lasts forever. Everything is in motion, everything is always changing, including us! Yet, we forget! ...

Working with Frustrations
We've all been in a situation that irritates us and leaves us feeling frustrated.
Things can't always go according to plan or happen exactly how we'd like them to unfold. To make things easier on ourselves, we can learn to soften into the inevitable & frustrating moments of life with a sens...

What if the Best is Yet to Come?
The brain will sometimes tell us that our best days are behind us...
Perhaps it tells us that we will never be as healthy, as strong, as free, as when we were in the past...and we had no idea the best days were passing by!
This sequence is for you if you ever look back and feel like now is not ...
