We can't escape heartbreak and loss in this life, nor should we try.
Knowing it's a part of life doesn't necessarily make loss any easier thought. It still requires processing and tenderness. This kind of heartbreak still requires time and care.
Feeling the sadness that comes with losing someone we love simultaneously shows us just how lucky we were to have had someone as special to love and be loved by. It is because of our love that loss is that much more intense of a feeling to hold.
This video is to remind you that you are allowed to take as long as you need in this process of grieving. That you are allowed to use every reminder of sadness to also remember the profound joy this relationship allowed you to experience and continues to allow you to experience as you revisit memories in your mind's eye.
