If you find yourself carrying memories of the past that feel heavy, dark, and fill you with complicated feelings even now, this is for you.
When it comes to healing the early life wounds so many of us carry, I find it helpful to look back and ask, "What can I offer myself now that I didn't receive then?"
We might get different answers every time. Keep asking. Keep giving.
If it feels a little murky and you're not sure what to offer, sometimes we can flip it around and ask, "What does this younger version of me need right now in order to feel safe?"
"What would I offer a child in this situation, now that I am capable of helping?"
Feel free to use this sequence to touch on specific memories as they arise, or to use for a period of your life that feels ready to be re-interpreted through the wise eyes you currently have.
If you feel like sharing, I'd love to hear what shifts after tapping. Any new insights when you think of your younger self?
