Feeling like a Burden

You might currently find yourself needing extra support on your healing journey right now.
That might mean leaning on your loved ones financially, emotionally, energetically, and even physically.
In this process, sometimes you find yourself feeling like a burden. (When I felt too ill to work or function beyond the walls of our apartment, I sure did.)
This might tie into feeling ashamed that you aren't more physically sturdy right now, the guilt for not being or feeling more capable in the world, the shame for not helping out as much with daily tasks, feeling sad that you're not as able-bodied or minded as you wish you were.
These feelings are HEAVY.
Just writing this brings me right back to the weight of the story of "feeling like a burden." This story creates the false illusion that you're draining those around you of energy and resources...but what if that's not the case at all?
What if those around you want nothing more than to see you relax and accept their support with a sense of gratitude, dropping the shame, judgement, sadness and just steeping in how good it feels to have support.
After tapping, what comes up for you? What might you do differently when you realize you are not a burden and that you are in fact needed?
