I've heard from so many of you how terrified you feel to exercise.
You find yourself worried about:
-causing a flare-up
-dealing with so much fatigue you can't function
-not feeling safe or healthy enough to even attempt a workout
-doing harm to the health you've worked so hard to achieve
You might also be feeling overwhelmed with all of the conflicting claims:
"Everyone must exercise to be healthy!"
"You should absolutely not exercise if you are dealing with post-exertional fatigue or exercise intolerance"
"Only strength training is necessary. Cardio is harmful."
"Exercise in a fasted state is ideal"
"Exercise in a fasted state is harmful."
"Exercise is too stressful and anti-thyroid."
"Exercise is pro-thyroid and stress-reducing."
Talk about a lot of noise...!
Let's calm the chaos, one tap at a time, and remind your brain that you GET to move your body in ways that work for you.
This is not about pushing and white-knuckling through. This is about honoring your body because you get to do it your way this time.
