Oooof, this is something I still work on!
As someone that over the years associated having panic attacks with doctor appointments and fainting with blood draws, I resonate with those of you that get anxious just thinking about an upcoming appointment.
As you're probably well aware, this kind of anticipatory anxiety feels all consuming. Before we even step into the office, our brains are already painting stories of worst-case scenario.
What if it doesn't have to be this way?
What if we can prime the brain to assume the best, to walk in an out of that appointment with a sense of confidence, a sense of ease, no matter what happens?!
