It's Safe to Rest
Energy & Fatigue

So many of you have expressed the concern that it doesn't feel safe to rest and how even attempting to "relax" can be more stressful than it is to just keep pushing.
I existed in that mentality for most of my life and tapping was my first taste of what it could be like to drop the hustle. What would life look like if I could actually slow down and let myself recover?
I literally could not sit still, no matter how exhausted or genuinely sick I was: I kept going and forcing myself to do do do.
Often times, this core belief gets wired very early in life when we learn that hypervigilance and always scanning for danger actually feels like the safer option.
As adults, we find ourselves always busy, always scheduling, feeling the need to constantly work and stay on top of things....unable to just sit, relax, and be. We might breathe very shallowly, hold our stomachs tight, clench our jaw, and feel like we are always rushing from one thing to the next.
If you find yourself unable to relax, try this one out.
It might be helpful to do as a simple way to start training the new story that not only is it safe to relax, it is SAFER to live predominantly in a rest-digest-healing state. That's what allows us to repair, to re-build, to rejuvenate, as opposed to always breaking down and spiraling into states of dis-ease.
After tapping, what comes up for you?

It's an entirely different scenario to avoid doing certain things out of fear that your body can't handle it.
We (innocently) get caught in the spirals of "what... -
