For those of you that can't stop scanning for symptoms or "body checking" throughout your day: this is for you.
The brain learns this habit from the innocent place of believing that staying hyper-focused on a symptom might help us "fix" it faster... In reality, the hyper-vigilance and constant body scanning heightens the pathways in the brain that scan for danger & discomfort, while pruning back the pathways that scan for pleasure, beauty, and safety.
So, let's support the brain in releasing this habit and instead, to scan for what is going RIGHT.
